This is a supercompact, low-cost, and great quality mic for the price. It's effortless to set up and sounds great. It doesn't have a low-cut filter or adjustable output levels, but most bloggers probably won't even use it. It's an ideal alternative to the Rode VideoMicro. It connects to a camera with plug-in power via the supplied TRRS to TRS cable (see above) or to a smartphone via the TRRS to TRRS cable.
